During my recent stay, I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing service at Uga Chena Huts. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my husband's birthday surprise was a magical experience. The manager even remembered it was my partner's birthday, which made us feel truly special. The intimate feel of the hotel with its hidden walkways and secluded huts added to the enchanting atmosphere. The main pool was a highlight, with a refreshing waterfall and the option to enjoy a king coconut while swimming. The food surpassed our expectations, offering delicious three-course meals with accommodating staff. Although the spa was slightly overpriced, we both enjoyed a relaxing massage. The beach was great for exploration, and the night sky was simply breathtaking. The rangers and guides on the safari were knowledgeable and ethical, which was a refreshing change. The spacious rooms were impeccable and provided a comfortable home away from home. I would highly recommend Uga Chena Huts for a truly blissful and unforgettable experience.

The hotel was very cramped and noisy, which made it difficult to relax. The rooms were too small and poorly ventilated which caused the air to be stuffy and unpleasant.

We had an amazing time during our romantic escape in the south east of Sri Lanka. The complementary cocktails upon arrival and the relaxing spa treatment were the perfect way to start our stay. The location was ideal, with beautiful beaches and stunning landscapes all around us. We also loved the fact we could enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and biking.

While the food was tasty, we would have loved to have more options on the menu. we found the rooms to be a bit too hot for our liking.

The Spa Centre offered an excellent Full body massage, a comforting Spa lounge, and soothing Jacuzzi.

The only minor issue we experienced at this hotel was the noise level. Despite the otherwise peaceful surroundings, occasionally we could hear other guests' conversations and movements.

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, ensuring that we always had transportation available whenever we needed it. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of options to choose from.
